If NOWHERE EMILIA was a record about space, places and non-places, LANGUORE is a record about the pangs of time, about interrupted pasts, about recovery, but also about the sense of emptiness caused by the difficulty of retracing, retaining and giving consistency to the experience. An album of songs to make peace with the demons of time.

LANGUORE shows us a more mature IBISCO, capable of synthesizing its expressive strength, already present in previous works, with greater clarity. Thus was born a direct and uncompromising album, immersed in a dark and anti-digital sound paste, where electronic and acoustic dimensions coexist, exalting themselves by antithesis, thanks also to the renewed co-production of Marco Bertoni who, with the same passion of the times of the Confusional Quartet and the Bolognese alternative scene of the 70s, was able to make the different souls of IBISCO coexist perfectly. The narrative is the paroxysmal result of revealing flashes, moments of lucid depression, spasmodic and dazzling sincerity.

Memories seem incapable of disambiguating their inability to relive, as if that time were pushing diligently in multiple directions, yet I feel the present too often under the shadows of its rarefaction. In this absence of finitude, of measure, lies my languor .

A full-bodied analogue arrangement that supports precise and evocative words. IBISCO models its music, in continuous research and evolution, around a sensation, a feeling, so that it can be as strong and direct as possible, shaking the emotional state of listening. There is no room for compromise or solutions aimed at pleasing, LANGUORE is a 1:1 record, person to person.

His hybrid and hybrid post-songwriting was born from the need to be as true and identifying as possible, to describe the human condition through excesses and contradictions, moving between post rock guitars and cold wave electronic incursions, without losing the references of a certain songwriting Italian. The structures, often dilated, are bearers of a communicative synthesis which, in reaction to the drama that fuels it, wants to take all the time it needs.
