TIGER! SHIT! TIGER! TIGER!

‘Bloom‘ is the new release from Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger!, available on 23 February 2024 on To Lose La Track (LP) e Coypu (tape).

The fourth album of the Umbrian band continues to experiment with new sounds, developing a creative language that does not abandon its identity while overcoming its origins devoted to low fidelity. The album runs on the tracks of sonic youth, between grunge and shoegaze reminiscences, crossing scenarios that are sometimes emotional and violent, sometimes desert-like and arid.

The title aims to underline the sense of rebirth that accompanied the T!S!T!T! in the new and long creative path, embodied by the delicacy and expressive power of a simple flower. A flower that dissolves in acid and is reborn from it. ‘Bloom’ is a dialogue that the band conducted with its most intimate nature, with its desire to be self-satisfied even with its own defects, its own wounds but with the aim of never looking back in order to obtain a new form of creative language. ‘Bloom’ contains two souls, the one that subjects the listener to an initiatory ritual and the one that opens up to it by sharing the persuasiveness of its melodies: «I will only let you enter my world if I am sure that you will understand me».

The album was recorded, mixed and mastered completely in analogue at the VDSS Recording Studio in Frosinone by Filippo Passamonti (in the past in the studio with Kurt Vile).

The artwork for ‘Bloom‘ was curated by Brooklyn-based visual designer Keeley Laures who has collaborated with overseas bands and labels such as Ride, My Bloody Valentine and Lemonheads.
