Sharp Pins is the lo-fi pop project of Kai Slater (Lifeguard, Dwaal Troupe), a Chicago-based musician who weaves ’60s melancholy with youthful urgency into songs as captivating as old pirate radio broadcasts.
Recorded between Chicago and Olympia with Hayes Waring and mastered by Amy Dragon, the new album “Balloon Balloon Balloon” vibrates like a love letter sent over the airwaves to lost and rediscovered generations.
With a sound that stings, sparkles, and cuts straight to the soul, Sharp Pins rekindles a revolution of the heart in an age of screens and algorithms, reminding listeners that dancing is an act of resistance.
During the weekend there the new night lines are available, to move around Bologna and its surroundings throughout the night (with departures every half hour!).
Get on board the N3 line and arrive at Covo (and go home!) whenever you want, wherever you live.
In this period (and for a long time) it is possible that in this area there'll be construction work that limit the availability of parking spots nearby. If you cannot find a parking space in viale Zagabria, we recommend looking in the following streets: Kharkov, della Campagna, Francoforte, Machiavelli.
