Sandri

Sandri is the musical project of Michele Alessandri—a strange, crooked, shape-shifting creature walking a fine line between delicacy and distortion, singer-songwriter intimacy and alien visions.

At Covo Club, Sandri presents his new album Animalerie, a record that further defines the project’s distinctive identity: rooted in songwriting, deeply emotional, yet constantly warped by distortion. It is an album about love, people and beasts—three subjects that intersect, overlap and sometimes merge into one another. Earth, nature and skin.
In French, animalerie means “pet shop”, but pronouncing the word as if it were Italian gives it a new, invented identity of its own—one that becomes the thread running throughout the entire record.
