CROATIAN AMOR

Croatian Amor is the solo pseudonym of Loke Rahbek.

Croatian Amor’s music is made of a distinct and brilliant intimacy over an invigorating rhythm that arises from the chronicles of the contemporary world. Originally from Copenhagen, Rahbek runs the Posh Isolation label, an incubation place for many Scandinavian experimental music artists, including many of his collaborators. Like Croatian Amor, Rahbek’s most crucial and imaginative tale is laid bare.

Croatian Amor composes an artificial pop composed of circuits that intertwine our lives. Using a mixture of widespread electronic musical traditions, fantastic synthetic worlds are conjured up capable of making this planet a little more habitable. His most recent works include the solo albums “Remember Rainbow Bridge” from 2022 and “A Part of You in Everything” from 2023 and a continuous stream of releases with longtime collaborators Scandinavian Star and Frederik Valentin.

Croatian Amor has performed at festivals, venues and clubs such as Berlin Atonal, Rewire,

Mutek Mexico, Ephemera Festival, Roskilde, Click, Sydney Opera House, Berghain, Wide Awake Festival, Copenhagen Contemporary.

Christian Stadsgaard, also known by his solo moniker Vanity Productions, has become a crucial figure in the contemporary Nordic electronic and experimental music scene over the past decade.

Emerging in the early 2000s in the experimental noise music scene, Stadsgaard is known for his innovation and elaborate expressive style. How Vanity Productions has created a fusion of noise elements with introverted melodies to take us into desolate soundscapes and endless tales of turbulent modern conditions. Often with an existentialist edge and unfocused sensibility, Stadsgaard paints sonic canvases of modern melancholy. Under the banner “Broken hearts and broken electronics”, Vanity Productions oscillates between electronic experimentation, noise exploration and elevated melodic elaboration, directing tender forces with an assertive and impulsive streak. At the helm of the Posh Isolation label with Loke Rahbek, Stadsgaard is responsible for one of the most coherent and compelling labels to both define and process the many productive sides of the underground over the last decade.
