New Zealand pub-punks DARTZ exploded onto the scene in 2019 after singer Danz found himself asking for a spot as opening cat for Australia’s The Chats only to realize he might need a band (and some songs). He quickly recruited his friends Crispy, Rollyz, and Clark, and the quartet began to build their garage punk rock sound: unbridled guitar-driven tunes with edgy lyrics that deal with everything from stories of small-town parents and after-work pub crawls to more serious topics like decolonization, drug testing, and megachurch preachers.
DARTZ’s second album, “Dangerous Day To Be A Cold One,” was released on March 1, 2024 by New Zealand’s legendary Flying Nun label, debuting at No. 1 on the New Zealand album chart. With song titles such as “Bush Weed,” “Gender Reveal Burnout,” “Flat Inspection, ” “Get In On The Groundfloor,” and “Learning To Drive With Dad,” there is no doubt that DARTZ are continuing as they began: poking fun at every homeowner, pyramid scheme hustler, and housing speculator under the sun, while expressing a genuine love for their rural roots and the characters who populate those small towns.
Pure adrenaline. Visceral. Engaging. Funny as hell.
Zookraught have become the darlings of Seattle‘s dance-punk scene, and it won’t be long before the rest of the world discovers them. The trio, with their psychedelic makeup on their faces and freak-punk aesthetic, leave stages covered in sweat, saliva and whatever strange substance is generated by the crowd they have converted to the power of Zook.
Their new album, “VIDA VIOLET,” released independently on Sept. 19, encapsulates their unforgettable sound, top-notch talent, irresistible charisma and their sharpest performances ever. Not surprisingly, they were included in Global Rock Underground’s “Best of the Northwest 2024” list.
Hailing from the dark underbelly of Seattle, Zookraught is a band that refuses to conform to musical norms. Their sound is an explosive chaos of dance-punk, edgy rhythms and experimental noise, creating an exhilarating and completely original soundscape. Their music is a sensory assault that challenges the listener to question any preconceived notions of what music should be.
If you are ready to immerse yourself in a world of wonderful chaos and unfettered creativity, then the Zookraught are for you.

In this period (and for a long time) it is possible that in this area there'll be construction work that limit the availability of parking spots nearby. If you cannot find a parking space in viale Zagabria, we recommend looking in the following streets: Kharkov, della Campagna, Francoforte, Machiavelli.
