Do you like tearing posters off the walls and decorating your bedroom with them? Do you like collecting vintage fanzines that your parents used to make themselves look beautiful? Do you like discovering new music? Create playlists with absurd names? Do you like to dress without commitment, but well and of quality?

Then you also like Festa Marchetti. The party with the most souls, where electronic music, experimental jazz and midwest emo go together in an absurd way.

A celebration that is the declination of a plural reality by definition, served on a rich dish according to one and only one rule: that of variety.

We are talking about Orchestra Marchetti, a collective based in Bologna but originally from Avellino, ready to radiate the red city with its charisma. But in addition to the soon-to-be party, the heart of the project beats very strongly in Strada Maggiore 25F, where you just have to raise your head to find the sign in capital letters “Orchestra Marchetti”.

More than a simple retailer offering very rare archive pieces, more than a shop with refined clothes. OM imagines itself as the sancta sanctorum of Italian underground and independent culture, where there is space to nostalgically regret the past (and in abundance). But only on the condition that every tear shed reflects on the future of this spontaneous culture,

on the possibilities that digital opens up in a world where analog is only remembered as the golden age.

Taking the research done in clothing by the hand is the equally exclusive one in areas such as independent music, design, visual art, crazy and desperate collecting of objects. And last but not least, the community. Meant as being alive together (not just behind a screen), to share and recover that primordial warmth. Because connecting with each other, despite differences, is still the greatest treasure. To be cherished, yes, but without jealousy of any kind.
