GIALLORENZO — like the surname of a guy who died years ago, lingering in his own house well beyond death. In reality, it’s an Italian lo-fi band, with punk rock and songs at its core.
In 2019, they released what Vice called the best Italian indie album of the year: MILANO POSTO DI MERDA, a passionate tribute to the city’s misfits.
The follow-up, FIDATY (2020), further developed the debut’s formula.
Their third record, SUPER SOFT RESET (2022), was an alt-punk album with a dark, pandemic-shaped heart.
After a break largely devoted to solo projects (CALMI, giovanni pedersini, and montag), they celebrated the five-year anniversary of their debut with a vinyl pressing and a tour, warmly received by an ever-growing audience.
On April 25, 2025, they released their latest album, INNI E CANTI, for those who keep falling in love with their noisy, chaotic, and sticky songs.
Stage name of Michele Boscacci, he is a musician and songwriter born in Sondrio in 1996. His passion for music grew in a family environment where the guitar always played a central role thanks to his father, a member of the historic band Asma, who from an early age nurtured his curiosity and desire to play—just as he did with his brother, Carlo Boscacci, later frontman of Ricche le Mura and also the pen behind the project Bosco da Soma.
A self-taught musician by vocation, he developed a unique style defined by spontaneity and a raw sound that still characterizes his artistic output today. During his teenage years, he began performing live with cover bands made up of friends, and it was in that period that he discovered his inclination for writing original songs—first in English and then in Italian—with the goal of creating something personal and far from conventions.
Amid lo-fi, off-kilter, and distorted sounds, his influences range from Ben Howard to King Krule, Alex G, Mount Kimbie, and Mac DeMarco, resulting in a dreamy yet gritty brand of alt-pop.
His university years in Milan, where he studied Energy Engineering, alternated with weekends back in Sondrio—strictly dedicated to recording his demos. Determination was the key. This set him on the path that would lead to the release of his debut album Lleb in 2021, a work distinguished by its sincerity and authenticity, immediately catching the attention of critics, including Rockit, which named it among the best albums of the year.
The success of the album opened the doors to his first summer tour in 2022, supported by Panico Concerti and Dischi Sotterranei, culminating in his debut at the MIAMI Festival. However, as often happens in the most moving stories, his journey was abruptly interrupted when a serious motorcycle accident forced him to stop, pausing the growing momentum his project was building.
After a long recovery period, 2025 finally marks his definitive return to the scene with a second album on Dischi Sotterranei.
The first single, Capelli Argento, was released on March 26, followed by the double release KOTO & Al cader della giornata on April 25.
The album, titled Ortensie Comete, is scheduled for release on May 23.
During the weekend there the new night lines are available, to move around Bologna and its surroundings throughout the night (with departures every half hour!).
Get on board the N3 line and arrive at Covo (and go home!) whenever you want, wherever you live.
In this period (and for a long time) it is possible that in this area there'll be construction work that limit the availability of parking spots nearby. If you cannot find a parking space in viale Zagabria, we recommend looking in the following streets: Kharkov, della Campagna, Francoforte, Machiavelli.
