Every year we hold a party at the Covo Club, in Bologna, to remind us of what makes us happyə: to get excited together under the stage. Two days, same place, band and artistə we love.
This is home. This is the third one.
DAY 1: Cabrera / Morningviews / Amalia Bloom / Trauma Glow / + AFTERSHOW
DAY 2: Oak / John Pedersini / Orlando / + AFTERSHOW
Oak: Born out of fun and necessity in Iglesias, 60 km from Cagliari, in early 2016. The first LP, “Of All the Things We Lost and Will Lose,” is released independently in 2019. After almost four years, on November 26, 2023, they released their second LP, “Where You Really Die,” also self-produced.
Cabrera: They do things a little bit emo, a little bit post, sometimes screamed (often), sometimes not.
On the stages they collect a good amount of: singalongs, piru piru, finger pointing to the sky and friendship. Loads of tears, from Modena.
Amalia Bloom: DIY emo hardcore from Vicenza, Italy, influenced by 90s and 2000s American punk rock and hardcore. In May 2022 they released their first album, “Picturesque,” a concept dealing with love, existence, and movement, distributed on vinyl in Europe, UK, and the US. After the digital release, they took the album on tour between Italy and Europe, playing in cities such as Prague, Amsterdam, Brussels, Rome, Barcelona and Marseille.
Trauma Glow: from Vienna, they establish themselves as a fascinating force in the alternative rock scene. The quartet offers a hypnotic blend of melancholic melodies, guitar-driven soundscapes and dreamy atmospheres capable of transporting you to a world where emotions dissolve into a mist of ethereal beauty.
Morningviews: Shouts and mixed feelings, from places without a sea.
Giovanni Pedersini: Singer and guitarist for Giallorenzo and Malkovic.
Born in Brescia, but a resident of East Milan for more than a decade, at the dawn of his thirties he embarked on a solo journey for the first time in his life with the album “I’ve Given You Everything I’m Not Looking for Anything but This.”
Orlando: The voice and guitar of Eleonora Busato, always on the run between Vicenza and Paris: hanging by a thread between Joan Baez and Ivan Graziani, between Françoise Hardy and an evening of Italian songwriting in a country bar.is the voice and guitar of Eleonora Busato, always on the run between Vicenza and Paris: hanging by a thread between Joan Baez and Ivan Graziani, between Françoise Hardy and an evening of Italian songwriting in a country bar.
During the weekend there the new night lines are available, to move around Bologna and its surroundings throughout the night (with departures every half hour!).
Get on board the N3 line and arrive at Covo (and go home!) whenever you want, wherever you live.
In this period (and for a long time) it is possible that in this area there'll be construction work that limit the availability of parking spots nearby. If you cannot find a parking space in viale Zagabria, we recommend looking in the following streets: Kharkov, della Campagna, Francoforte, Machiavelli.
