Lamante is the musical project of Giorgia Pietribiasi, class 99, born and raised in the town of Schio (VI). She began playing and writing music at a very young age. He plays a variety of instruments and expresses himself not only through music but also through writing and visual arts such as photography and painting.

Lamante is a singer-songwriter who carries expressive urgency, pain, anger, atonement. Her voice is dark, dry and sharp like the peasant women in her family. Indeed, Giorgia, with her voice, loves to trace her origins and family memory. It is a process that takes hold at the age of eight, when she is given a camera and a recording microphone. Even now with the same tools as before, she photographs films and records the space, the sounds of the places and people she inhabits.

In his lyrics and, more generally, in his musical artistic vision, there is a desire to make the events of his memory (and sometimes of a more collective memory) heroic myths, photographs of a human legacy, visual and descriptive texts of an ‘atmosphere (rather than a mood), which many would call “matriarchal tribal.”

In June 2023 she released L’Ultimo Piano, the song that took her to the finals of the 34th Musicultura Festival, winning the Nuovo Imaie prize. Hence, a new music project produced by Taketo Gohara and distributed by Artist First was born. This is followed by the singles Come volevi essere and Rossetto, which explore personal moments and themes of independence, accompanied by meaningful video clips.

May 2024 saw the release of his debut album In Memory of, a journey between memories and origins, awarded PIVI 2024 for the video of Don’t Call Me Beautiful. The summer tour features her in festivals such as MI AMI, La Prima Estate and Poplar Festival.

In September, she is selected for Up Next Italia by Apple Music and performs at Apple Piazza Liberty in Milan. In 2024, he participated in the records of Levante and Paolo Benvegnù and was among the finalists for the Targhe Tenco for the “Opera Prima” category. It is also up for the “Best Italian Album” award at the Rockol Awards.

Gattotoro

GattoToro is the solo debut of Gabriele Tura, lead singer of the band Le Endrigo, who after hundreds of live shows and an unlikely but successful TV adventure on X Factor 2021 picks up an acoustic guitar and writes a handful of songs made just to be shouted in chorus with four chords and the truth, nothing but the truth.
On Oct. 21 an Ep is released for Woodworm/Universal with two tracks “That’s Right, That One There Was Stupid” and “Eight Little Lies (and Two Big Ones),” recorded live guitar and vocals and presented with a 14-date tour de force in 14 days.
