Singer and guitarist Miles Kane announces his return to Italy with his solo electric show!
Preceded by the single “Baggio”, dedicated to the player Roberto Baggio, on August 4 Miles Kane released his latest effort “One Man band”, an album in which he returns to the guitar and focuses on melodic lines and wide-ranging turns. Sharp, infectious, urgent and full of sing-along moments, this is Miles on top form. A deeply personal record, in which Miles returns to Liverpool to work on the album, finding himself reflecting on his journey.
One Man Band is an album that defines a new milestone in Miles’ career, a sonically brilliant and sincere album.
Miles Kane, British singer and guitarist, frontman of The Rascals and before that guitarist of the band The Little Flames, collaborated with Arctic Monkeys in 2007 on some of the band’s hit singles such as “Fluorescent Adolescent” and “505”.
On August 2 of the same year, the project The Last Shadow Puppets was announced together with his friend Alex Turner.
Their first album “The Age of the Understatement” released in 2008, immediately reached #1 in the UK charts, also receiving a nomination for the Mercury Music Prize.
In 2009 Miles Kane embarked on a solo career, releasing his debut single “Inhaler” in 2010.
Many important artists such as The Courteeners, Beady Eye, Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian choose him as the opening of their shows, as well as a series of live shows as a soloist.
“Colour Of The Trap” is the title of his first solo album and boasts notable collaborations such as Noel Gallagher and Clémence Poésy, furthermore half of the songs on the album were written together with his friend Alex Turner.
In 2013 he released the singles “Give Up” and “Don’t Forget Who You Are” which anticipated the release of the second album “Don’t Forget Who You Are” which debuted at #8 in the UK charts.
In 2015 Turner and Kane worked together again and in 2016 the new album “Everything You’ve Come to Expect” was released, preceded by the single “Bad Habits”.
In 2018 he announces his live return with 16 shows in the UK and participation in some of the most important festivals such as Finsbury Park, Neighborhood Fest and TRNSMT.
“Coup De Grace” is the title of the third album, released in 2018 and which boasts important collaborations such as Jamie T and Lana Del Rey.
His new album “One Man Band” was released on August 4, 2023 on Modern Sky Records/ Virgin Music Italy.
