Sunday,June is a five-piece Swiss band formed in Geneva in 2024 around the writing of Mario Peiró (vocals, guitar). After developing the first songs through a more solitary and introspective creative process, Mario decided to create a truly collective project, bringing together musicians with whom the musical and personal understanding was evident from the first sessions. The lineup includes Antoine Chapel (keyboards, backing vocals), Audrey Croisier (guitar, backing vocals), Vincent Breza (bass), and Thomas Abbet (drums), and from the very beginning they shared an immediacy and harmony that helped define the group’s identity. Their debut album, Sun Glitter and Other Reflections (2025) laid the foundations for their sonic universe: a dense, sophisticated form of psychedelic pop, largely crafted within a home-studio setting—intimate in its approach and experimental in its spirit.

In November 2026, Sunday,June released their second album, *Cinema*, recorded at Chapel Studios in England with producer Andy Savours (My Bloody Valentine, Arctic Monkeys, The Killers). Composed collectively during a series of creative residencies in isolated, nature-immersed locations—and recorded live in a single room without the aid of a click track—the record marks a significant evolution in the band’s journey: moving from the introspection of their debut toward a broader, more choral, and… cinematic sound.

Since their formation, the band has built a solid live presence, performing at the Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Supersonic in Paris, the Antigel Festival (Switzerland), and at numerous venues across Europe. The group will continue their live activities with an extensive tour in 2027, featuring concerts scheduled in the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, and other countries.
