“The Peawees are pretty much the toughest rock band we’ve had the opportunity to appear with. Do yourself a favor: if The Peawees ever perform anywhere near you, don’t miss them. They are a great group and will definitely drive you crazy!”
Rob Lind (The Sonics)
In 1995, in the quiet military city of La Spezia, three teenagers led by Hervé Peroncini decided to rebel against everyday monotony by choosing punk rock as an escape route, giving life to the Peawees.
Since then, the band has graced stages all over the world, with six albums and a slew of singles that testify to a career characterized by ever-evolving rocknroll.
Their music, a dynamic mix that starts from Punk Rock roots and is enriched with influences of rnb, roots rock, soul and garage, is a sonic journey that has won over critics and the public. The uniqueness of their sound has led them to participate in internationally renowned festivals and to share the stage with garage punk icons such as The Sonics, The Detroit Cobras, The Fleshtones, The Damned, The Hellacopters, Radio Birdman and many others…
Today, the band is made up of frontman and songwriter Hervé Peroncini, supported by Texan drummer Tommy Gonzalez, guitarist Dario Persi and bassist Fabio Clemente. Together, they continue to advance the mission that began nearly three decades ago.
September 6, 2024 will mark the release of their seventh album, “One Ride”. An eagerly awaited work, preceded by five explosive singles: “The Wolf”, “Plastic Bullets”, “Lost In The Middle”, “Banana Tree” and “You’ll Never Be Mine Again”.
After a spring tour in Spain with the Hellacopters, the Peawees are preparing to hit the road again with an international tour starting on September 7th in Malaga, Spain.
If you haven’t seen them live yet, this is the perfect opportunity to experience rocknroll in its purest form.
During the weekend there the new night lines are available, to move around Bologna and its surroundings throughout the night (with departures every half hour!).
Get on board the N3 line and arrive at Covo (and go home!) whenever you want, wherever you live.
n this period (and for a long time) it is possible that in this area there'll be construction work that limit the availability of parking spots nearby. If you cannot find a parking space in viale Zagabria, we recommend looking in the following streets: Kharkov, della Campagna, Francoforte, Machiavelli.
