Sometimes going far is not enough to find what is missing inside us: after giving us a sneak peek with the single “THE GREAT FUSION,” Tripolare is back with “THE HOLIDAY” (Sugar Music).

The humid heat, the sunsets, the discos where you never really have fun, the summer loves, the silences, the nights awake fighting mosquitoes and thoughts. With this album Tripolar plays with the very concept of vacation and turns it into a time of introspection and personal quest: some people leave to escape, some stay by choice, and some always feel out of place wherever they are. Eleven tracks that move between longing, loss, irony and a desire for levity, an invitation to take your time and let go.

“I worked a lot, I got tired, maybe I should have done better not to get tired at all but I’ve done it now and I don’t have the energy to question myself. So I make myself stupid, I don’t think. I look for the vacation and I don’t find peace. I idealize it, pay for it, run away from it and force myself to like it. I experience moments of levity, with an underlying bitterness, because I could have found them even without a trip. A fun thing I will never do again until next year.”, says Tripolar.

However, in this new journey, Tripolar is not alone: in fact, “THE HOLIDAY” is enriched by the presence of some of the most interesting voices of the new scene, including SANO, ARIETE, Thirteen Peter and Stef 5k. An album that speaks to those who need to breathe, to detach, to find themselves. A sincere, flawed and human tale in which lightness coexists with disillusionment and each song becomes a mirror in which to recognize oneself, if only for a moment.

BIOGRAPHY

Gabriele Centurione, aka Tripolare, is a singer-songwriter, musician and producer born in Naples in 2002. With his music Tripolare tells all the facets of the 20s: the transition from adolescence to adulthood, the search for one’s own balance, carefreeness, sex, distance from home. After the first singles including “Polmoni” and “Melone”, contained in his first EP “Acne”, he joins the Sugar roster and releases the second EP, “Panorama20”, in February 2023. The same year he made his debut at the MI AMI Festival and performed at the RDS Summer Festival. He has collaborated with numerous artists, including Drast, Bartolini, Thrucollected and Vale LP. In May 2024 his first album “Vitamin Life” was released, anticipated by the single “Blades and Necklaces” (Sugar) and followed by the repack “VItamina Life +.” During 2024 Tripolar walked on important stages such as the Concertone del Primo Maggio in Rome and MI AMI in Milan and then continued touring at summer festivals.
