After the release of the single “Gallipoli” (peermusic ITALY, Artist First), Tropea are preparing to release the new album and announce the dates of the Serole Tour. The Milanese underground band that reached the final in the latest edition of X Factor, after last year’s club tour and the subsequent summer leg, returns to its natural dimension, that of the stage.

Tropea combines different musical influences in their style including the alternative music of the 2000s, the postpunk of the early 80s and a beat that is very reminiscent of the 60s. After 6 years of activity the group has finally ready an album full of urgent things to say and “Gallipoli” seemed like the perfect opportunity to anticipate it, because it best depicts the moment they are experiencing: an idyllic summer that they have never had. “Gallipoli” represents for the band “the song of contradiction”, which speaks of the dreams and ambitions that reign in this post-Berlusconi era, but above all of its inconsistencies, “because the more we fill ourselves with emptiness, the more we feel emptiness to fill ”.

Tropea say: “The sense of itching of us Tropea is that of those who are growing up and are comparing their dreams, ambitions and the love we put into playing live, with a world that knows how to be ruthlessly devoid of content – like the song itself says: “I have become allergic” – “I am thirsty for a thirst that I don’t have”.
