Wavves

In support of their new album Spun and with a renewed live charge, the Wavves will bring their energetic sound between punk, surf rock and alt-pop melodies to the stage.

Since their beginnings in 2008, the Wavves have embodied the most irreverent and spontaneous spirit of the American indie scene. Starting out as Williams’ home project, with lo-fi recordings that immediately attracted the attention of blogs and fanzines, they rose to prominence with the 2010 album King of the Beach, a true generational manifesto that combined abrasive punk, surf rock, and infectious melodies.

Since then, the band has not stopped, releasing records such as Afraid of Heights (2013), V (2015) and Hideaway (2021), each of which marked a sonic evolution without ever betraying the chaotic and free attitude that characterizes them. The Wavves have graced the stages of major international festivals, from Coachella to Primavera Sound, and gained a devoted fanbase through concerts that are pure energy bursts: direct, loud, dragging.

The year 2025 marks the band’s discographic return with Spun, due out June 6. Preceded by the single “Goner,” produced by Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, the record represents a new creative phase for Williams and co.: songs that combine punk immediacy with more mature songwriting, without losing the messy, bright character that has made the Wavves a unique voice in the alternative scene.

The Italian concerts will be an opportunity to hear Spun’s songs live for the first time along with the great classics of the repertoire.
