Nottingham-based four-piece Do Nothing consists of vocalist Chris Bailey, guitarist Kasper Sandstrom, bassist Charles Howarth and Andrew Harrison on drums. Their sound is equal parts Roxye no wave art rock of Ze/Celluloid records. Do Nothing’s songs feature vocalist Chris Bailey’s acerbic lyricism, where each song feels like a psychological drama in its own right. Listening to their latest single “Gangs” is like walking into a crowded and noisy pub and finding yourself listening to fragments of confused conversations and embittered: “Wait a minute, this isn’t my house” says someone “who can eat at an hour like this?” someone else asks.
It all started in the summer of 2017 when Eugenia (vocals, guitar), after three months of travels, experiences and intense elaboration of songs when in Lisbon, meets Matteo, bassist and electronic musician, Giovanni, psychedelic guitarist and Matteo, jazz-oriented drummer. The band will introduce songs from their second album, “like i need a tension”, released in November 2022, which offers, in all respects, the sound of a band that has reimagined their soundscape and consequently the impact perceived by listeners who are more attentive to structures and deviations.
During the weekend there the new night lines are available, to move around Bologna and its surroundings throughout the night (with departures every half hour!).
Get on board the N3 line and arrive at Covo (and go home!) whenever you want, wherever you live.
In this period (and for a long time) it is possible that in this area there'll be construction work that limit the availability of parking spots nearby. If you cannot find a parking space in viale Zagabria, we recommend looking in the following streets: Kharkov, della Campagna, Francoforte, Machiavelli.
