Vision Division was born in Palermo in 2018 as a solo project by Giorgio Drago, author, singer and guitarist of the band, with the release of the demo/EP Memories From the Underground, recorded, mixed and mastered by Alberto Tudisca and Emanuele Bognardelli at Incipit Studio of Palermo, and that of the music video for Carillon, made by the then debuting director Gianfranco Piazza. With different formations he often performs in the province of origin, with a rhythm of about ten concerts a year at festivals, pubs, neighborhood houses, private parties, clubs and self-managed spaces.
In 2022 Vision Division becomes a stable band in Bologna with the arrival of Francesco Tramuto on guitar and Gaia Cumetti on drums and backing vocals and begins live activity: L’Altro Spazio, Il Quattro/4, Gallery 16, il Parco 11 September, as part of the roster of the Marley Session association, La Staffa in concert in duo, the Covo Club for Music is the Best, the Oltre il Ponte festival organized by the Circolo Granma in Bolognina, the Energie 23 festival in Zola Predosa, and many other contexts, formal and informal. Together the band develops a repertoire that expresses a sound made of many backgrounds, emotional contamination and an excessive passion for songwriting.
In 2023 they recorded an EP at the BuzzFarm Studio in Valsamoggia, soon to be released. Also in 2023, Simone Galeano was added on bass after long tests and research, and in 2024 they reached a distribution agreement with the Post Alt Black Road Studios label in Amsterdam. Their single Trail was released on 15 February 2024, promoted with a release party at Officina Pop in San Donato on 16 February, and distributed by Black Road Studios. For Trail, a video clip directed by Gianfranco Piazza and with photography by Arneaux is currently being made, the release of which is expected during the first half of March. At the end of March they’ll release their newest single, Bloom Blossom Bloom.
During the weekend there the new night lines are available, to move around Bologna and its surroundings throughout the night (with departures every half hour!).
Get on board the N3 line and arrive at Covo (and go home!) whenever you want, wherever you live.
In this period (and for a long time) it is possible that in this area there'll be construction work that limit the availability of parking spots nearby. If you cannot find a parking space in viale Zagabria, we recommend looking in the following streets: Kharkov, della Campagna, Francoforte, Machiavelli.
