Born in Nottingham, the Cucamaras are an indie/post-punk quartet described by Dork as “a band that is imposing its authority on the new wave of alt rock music.” In 2023, they were included in the NME 100 and gained numerous radio airplay on BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music through last year’s Buck Rogers Time EP.
Over the past year, the band has established itself as a live force in both the UK and Europe, performing at festivals such as The Great Escape, Reeperbahn and Eurosonic. Fresh from their 2023 tour dates, the Cucamaras have supported the likes of Sundara Karma, The Amazons, and Hotel Lux, as well as sold out their headlining concerts in cities such as Nottingham, London, Paris, and Barcelona.
The band recently announced its new single “Laughing,” which precedes an upcoming EP that we will be able to hear live, in concert, at the Covo Club.
During the weekend there the new night lines are available, to move around Bologna and its surroundings throughout the night (with departures every half hour!).
Get on board the N3 line and arrive at Covo (and go home!) whenever you want, wherever you live.
In this period (and for a long time) it is possible that in this area there'll be construction work that limit the availability of parking spots nearby. If you cannot find a parking space in viale Zagabria, we recommend looking in the following streets: Kharkov, della Campagna, Francoforte, Machiavelli.
