Deadletter

Already defined as one of the most exciting bands in London, Deadletter with singles and with an exciting debut EP (“Heat!”, 2022) have already made their way into the English post-punk scene, representing one of the most awaited cat among the summer 2023 festivals.

Coming from Yorkshire, now at home in the English capital, they have just presented the new single “The Snitching Hour” which continues in the footsteps already traced by the band in these first releases, that of a sound that recalls the punk attitude of the 70s with a touch of post-punk revival.

Made up of frontman Zac Lawrence, saxophonist Poppy Richler, guitarists Will King and James Bates, bassist George Ullyott and drummer Alfie Husband, Deadletter recounts today’s society with cynicism, lyricism and crudeness, with songs like “Binge” that are a critical fury written in a few moments that really spares nothing and nobody.
