On the new album, the follow-up to their acclaimed 2021 debut EP, “Forever At Last”, HighSchool present five songs characterized by enveloping and elliptical, emotionally charged songwriting that recalls the tangible atmosphere of their post-punk precursors , reinterpreted through a current perspective of lo-fi bedroom pop. Having dedicated the last few years to patiently refining their sound between Melbourne and their adopted London, “Accelerator” stands as a seamless continuation of the narrative arc of their debut EP.
With production by London-based producer Finn Billingham, mixing by multiple Grammy winner Philippe Weiss (Earl Sweatshirt, Nas, Drake) and mastering by Blur and Depeche Mode producer Ben Hillier, “Accelerator” draws effortlessly from the story’s vast array of indie rock, ranging from shoegaze and dream-pop to new wave, slowcore, jangle pop, slacker rock, art pop and beyond.
“Doesn’t Matter,” their brand new single, is a song about unrequited love. “It’s about desire and the places your imagination explores when you long for someone.” Directed by Henry Gosper and self-produced by the band, the video that accompanies the song offers a surreal and distorted look at HighSchool’s aesthetic universe.
Made up of Rory Trobbiani and Luke Scott, HighSchool create enveloping music. Acclaimed by prestigious media outlets such as NME, The FADER, CLASH, DIY, PAPER, Rolling Stone AU, The Line of Best Fit and So Young, the band recently announced their signing to [PIAS] Australia.
After relocating to London, HighSchool shared the stage with the likes of Wet Leg, CHVRCHES, NewDad and Mandy, Indiana, before performing on the UK’s biggest festival stages, including All Points East, End of the Road, The Great Escape, Manchester Psych Festival, Sea Change, Standon Calling and Visions. After an autumn tour of Europe and the UK, the duo returned to London to begin work on their second EP. The first single shared was “Colt”, a song with vibrant notes of electro and Italo-disco in a new wave mix.

In this period (and for a long time) it is possible that in this area there'll be construction work that limit the availability of parking spots nearby. If you cannot find a parking space in viale Zagabria, we recommend looking in the following streets: Kharkov, della Campagna, Francoforte, Machiavelli.
