Monte Mai is a Swiss-Grenadine psychedelic pop trio.
Formed in 2020 by singer Anais Schmidt (Grenada), singer and guitarist Fabio Pinto (Switzerland) and bassist Fabio Besomi (Switzerland), it is a fantastic mix of Swiss precision and Caribbean Sea freshness. A skilful blend of dilated melodies, angelic voices and incisive electronic rhythms, represented in absolute harmony. A right balance between man and the electronic soul. The composition and production are remarkably accurate and wonderfully unpredictable, swinging from minimalist to flourishing soundscapes chock-full of inventiveness.
“Eye Sea Double”, their debut, was released on February 3, 2023 on the independent Swiss labels On The Camper Records and Il Domani.
