okgiorgio

okgiorgio is Giorgio Pesenti, musician and producer from Bergamo born in 1996.

okgiorgio deconstructs, recombines and reassembles live analogue instrumentation, electronic productions, ethereal and alienating voices, shaping new dance anthems, between future garage and post-dubstep, combining electronic, refined and powerful sounds held together by an unconventional use of vocal parts.

In 2022 he released his first song entitled okokok, followed by okokokokok, in September 2023, and “a dj set for cows“, a dj set recorded in a countryside. ok is the title of the debut EP, released for Fast Friends.

Few words, all to imagine. okgiorgio’s music frames the listener’s thoughts and, at the same time, allows us to savor a bit of the artist’s complex inner world.

Five tracks, two of which are already known: okokok e okokokokok. The EP opens with ok, an enveloping prelude which, with guitar and synth chords, moves in a crescendo and then unexpectedly fades away, leaving a strong suspense in the air. okok satisfies the curiosity aroused through a fast-paced, danceable rhythm, capable of transporting the audience into a different reality with dance vibes and warm-voiced samples. okokok is the third track, like the repeating oks, in which we find a voice in Italian with an electronic, glitchy treatment.

The acoustic guitar chords are not left to chance: okgiorgio, thanks to a refined use, links the songs to each other, maintaining a stylistic coherence throughout his project.
