Say Yes Dog’s affinity for always being on the road is written in their biography: the German/Luxembourg trio met while studying music in the Netherlands, had already lived in many different places and now share a common base in Berlin. In recent years each of them has also developed into other musical projects, but they always end up meeting, again and again. “For us, Say Yes Dog represents the project where we can work together as simple friends, without having to make personal compromises. We can always influence and inspire each other, so that the band always changes organically and grows.”
Described by The Guardian as “Europe’s best-kept electro-pop secret”, their synthpop is now firmly entrenched in the minds of critics and fans.
Their new album, “DRÄI”, represents a subtle but fascinating evolution in their sound. Further reinforcing their melancholy tendencies, the record’s ten tracks are light and elegant. Take the downtempo “3(Home),” with its plaintive chorus, or the ghostly synth washes and detached vocals of “Cold”; they are not sad songs, but just thoughtful and meditative. Then, suddenly, hints of sunny funk, like in “On And On” and “Stay”, with wonderful guitar and little synth doodles here and there, distributed with a mischievous sense of fun.
For those who want to dance, songs like “Not Your Thing” and “Note To Self” are capable of immediately transporting you to the dancefloor. Or become the perfect soundtrack for an outing in the coolest bar in the city. This, in fact, is what sets Say Yes Dog apart from other bands: they engage your limbs and your brain, making both equally happy. Isnt it amazing?

Get on board the N3 line and arrive at Covo (and go home!) whenever you want, wherever you live.
n this period (and for a long time) it is possible that in this area there'll be construction work that limit the availability of parking spots nearby. If you cannot find a parking space in viale Zagabria, we recommend looking in the following streets: Kharkov, della Campagna, Francoforte, Machiavelli.
