SENYAWA in Indonesian means unity, harmony, fusion…
And it is precisely a question of symbiosis, of balance between the centuries-old musical tradition of the island of Java and the popular tradition that is much more familiar to us in Western culture: “Metal”.
Rully Shabara, also active in the Zoo concept combo, burps, sings and launches highly technical Javanese vocal sequences with an incredible plastic rhythm, while Wukir Suryadi plays various instruments built with his own hands: a bamboo with strings, a sort of Javanese guitar… Senyawa is the bright face of globalization as we would like to see it more often, when traditions collide, overlap, to give birth to new sounds that are truly stunning, exciting, surprising…
This unlikely and incredible duo was born in 2010 when an impromptu and incongruous improvisation was created at the urging of Wok The Rock as part of his local experimental festival… Immediately, love at first sight breaks out between the two unique artists (under the amazed eyes of the audience present at this decisive evening), knowing that they were discovering something special, original, vital!
Since then, they tour and record regularly and are invited here and there in Oceania, Asia, North America and Europe.

Get on board the N3 line and arrive at Covo (and go home!) whenever you want, wherever you live.

n this period (and for a long time) it is possible that in this area there'll be construction work that limit the availability of parking spots nearby. If you cannot find a parking space in viale Zagabria, we recommend looking in the following streets: Kharkov, della Campagna, Francoforte, Machiavelli.
